Vista Estrella began with a simple goal: spending more quality time together as a family.

During the pandemic, we were looking for a place to escape the daily routine and discovered the peaceful beauty of Borrego Springs. Between the stunning desert landscapes, incredible stargazing, and welcoming community, we quickly fell in love with the area and purchased our first vacation home.

What started as a personal retreat soon became something more. Friends and family wanted to visit, and before long, guests were discovering the same magic we had found. Our first property became so popular that we often found it booked when we wanted to visit ourselves, which inspired us to add a second Borrego Springs retreat to the Vista Estrella family.

Our connection to Rosarito goes back even further. We have been visiting Baja California for years and have created countless memories there with our children. From walks along the beach and amazing local food to breathtaking sunsets and weekend adventures, Rosarito has always felt like a second home. When the opportunity came to own a property there, we knew it would be the perfect addition to our collection.

Today, Vista Estrella remains a family-owned business, with plenty of input from our two children, who are often the first to test out games, amenities, and new ideas for our guests. Every property is furnished and maintained with the same care and attention we would want for our own family vacations.
